Audi Q5 unbox the box advert

This advert is clever and intersting to watch. By using animation of a man making a car out of a card board box this suggests that the car is hand made and the card board could show that it is environmentally friendly. The advert is quite arty and cheeky. It gives the car character because it was made by a cartoon man.

“Drench” advert

This advert is an advert on “drench” water, to persuade people to drink their water, “drench”.

It persuades the audience to buy this product because it entertains us by using a puppet from “Thunderbirds” dancing to a lively tune. He stops for a drink of water (DRENCH) before continuing his dancing. This points out to us that after physical activities, everyone needs a drink of water. They use the brand of water, “drench” in this advert which effectively persuades the audience to buy this product.
A small bit of text is shown towards the end, telling the audience “brains perform best when they’re hydrated” this is another effective persuasive technique used. The puppets name was brain from thunderbirds which attracted audiences who knew thunderbirds and it also fits with the slogan for the water brand they are advertising.
